General Care Instructions:

DOs -

• Dust Regularly: Use a dry, soft microfiber cloth to remove dust.
• Clean Spills Immediately: Blot (do not rub) with a clean, dry cloth.
• Use Coasters & Mats: Protect surfaces from hot dishes, water rings, and spills.
• Maintain Humidity: Keep indoor humidity between 40–60% to prevent warping or cracking.
• Lift, Don’t Drag: When moving furniture, always lift to avoid stress on joints.

DON’Ts -

• Avoid Harsh Chemicals: No bleach, ammonia, or all-purpose cleaners.
• Don’t Place in Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure can cause fading or drying.
• Don’t Place Near Heat Sources: Avoid radiators, heaters, or AC vents.
• Don’t Cover Tightly: Wood needs to breathe. Avoid airtight plastic covers.

Daily & Regular Care:

DOs

• Dust Often: Use a dry microfiber or soft cotton cloth.
• Wipe Spills Quickly: Even though PU resists water, prolonged contact can dull the surface.
• Use Mild Cleaners: A damp cloth with diluted dish soap works well for cleaning.
• Dry Immediately: After cleaning, always wipe the surface dry with a soft cloth.

 DON’Ts

• Avoid Harsh Chemicals: No alcohol-based sprays, bleach, or abrasive cleaners.
• Don’t Use Wax or Oil Polishes: They can create buildup and cloud the PU finish.
• Don’t Place Hot Items Directly: Always use mats or trivets for hot dishes and mugs.
• Avoid Prolonged Sunlight Exposure: May lead to gradual fading or discoloration.

Wood-Specific Care Tips:

Teak

• Naturally oily and durable.
• For outdoor use: Consider applying a sealer every 6–12 months.

Steam Beech

• Smooth, light-toned hardwood.
• Avoid excessive moisture; may expand/shrink with changes in humidity.
